Ok, I guess I need to pay a little better attention when the Onion and the Monitor start posting articles to my feed at the same time.

Not sure what feed your referring to... Then Monitor url is the main page & so is the Onion. So both are showing today's news not what you might be referencing.

LJ has certain accounts set up as RSS feeds, so articles from those publications show up as entries on my friends page. Sometimes they publish at the same time so the articles are all interspersed, and I'm scratching my head and thinking "Is that for real?" for a minute.
