Superficial thrombophlebitis - is what it is. Hot compresses, a course of antibiotics and ibuprofen to reduce inflammation (not for pain, really).

Damn. Sounds like something an old person would get, doesn't it. But no stockings, yay.

Thank goodness. I can't stand regular nylons, and those would be even worse.
