Superficial thrombophlebitis - is what it is. Hot compresses, a course of antibiotics and ibuprofen to reduce inflammation (not for pain, really).

Damn. Sounds like something an old person would get, doesn't it. But no stockings, yay.

Thanks, it actually doesn't hurt as much today, and I was able to go for a walk at lunch without the ACE bandage. Ten days of Keflex for what looks like a red patch on my leg seems like a lot, but what do I know? I guess I won't come down with anthrax in the meantime. ;p
