Silly mate asked me to wake him up when Mail Call came on, and did he stay awake for for it? Nope. Fell right back asleep. Guess he's not quite as hot for R. Lee as I thought. Although ol' R. Lee was lookin' pretty attractive when he showed up in the bathtub the other day (I am kidding).

The kids are back home - they all three spent the night with the grandmas last night. Gareth had to be reassured there were no possums, and Avalon gave her standard "Scared - Monsters" routine. Which is just her excuse for staying up and not going to sleep, because she will run in and tell me that with a big grin on her face, and generally not be scared at all while she's saying it. But it was quiet here today- almost too quiet. I'm glad they're back.

I meant to try to go the LJ bonfire at Bolsa Chica State Beach tonight, but when we came home from John's mom's, I just felt too tired. John walked by some tomato plant while we were there and it really set off his asthma. He had to take some heavy duty meds when we got home , so he wouldn't have been up to breathing any smoke either.

To work tomorrow. I need to throw some jeans in the wash. The ones I'm wearing now are worn on the top of the thighs and have holes by the back pocket. Not too appropriate to wear to work - even though I did last week. I just wore a long shirt. Then to bed with me.

I'm wondering if I'm developing a sensitivity to alcohol. Some friends of ours gave me a half bottle of Zinfandel after a trip they made and I decided to have a glass with dinner Saturday night. One glass makes me almost unbearably hot, and my stomach started hurting. Not to mention incredibly sleepy. Maybe it's the sulfites. I do enjoy wine, it would make me sad if I had to give it up.
