The book my SF reading group chose for August, Playing God, is one I actually have, so I don't have to worry about going out and buying it. And I actually may have time to read it, given the meeting is next week.

The only thing is, I'm going to be in Portland the day of the meeting, and my flight home doesn't leave until 8:10 p.m.
