Happy St. Patrick's...

John is grumpy this morning. Being third generation Irish, he's insisting that Angus wear orange as well as green today, and was rather insulted by Angus's class project that he brought home from school yesterday. It was little construction paper creature with a green hat, stretchy arms and legs, and shamrock hands and feet. The body, made of brown construction paper and complete with smiling face on the top end, appeared to be a potato.

KO just came 'round and distributed little St. Patrick's Day bags of candy. She's very into this holiday, since her first name is a shade of green and her last is O'something. ;)

Someone else might be insulted by this, but it was something Gareth said to me last night when I told him that tomorrow would be St. Patrick's Day....
