Doodled (on the back of an ad for another con) at the Anime Manga & Music (AM2) con in Anaheim this past weekend, while waiting for the kids to finish a contest in the Brony lounge. I started with his nose and then the rest of him didn't fit on the paper. Because he's big.

But I had to edit out some lines in his horse collar because my husband pointed out it looked like something untoward, and then I couldn't unsee it. :p

I guess one of the reasons I kinda like this toon and am allowing the kids to drag me along into it is that there are male ponies . I don't recall them existing before. Although Big Mack seems hardly a pony - he looks like a draft horse.

Gareth wore his Rainbow Dash hoodie I made him for Halloween and had a bunch of people want to take his picture in it.  Now he can't wait to wear it to Anime Expo, if we go. ;p

Hope they'll continue doing AM2 - this was its second year.  But it's free, except for concerts, priority seats, and tables in the artists alley.  Kind of small compared to AX, but kind of nice because of that.

Not a MPL fan (have yet to move on from episode 5), but I'm up on what goes on in the series and fandom wank. Bronies amuse the hell out me, too. Something about big, burly, middle aged trucker type guys totally into cutesy pastel cartoon - it's weirdly endearing. Their upsetting the apple cart, I get a kick out of some of that.

LOVE HotDiggedyDemon MPL spoofs. Magic.Mov is my favorite.

Ha! My kids have already shown me those. Crazy demented ponies! Reminds me of Ren and Stimpy(And am I the worst mom in the world letting them watch that stuff? Oh well.)

Eh, I wouldn't say I'm a huge fan, but I did like the previous 'toons done by the creator. And, as is often pointed out, it's much better than its predecessors. And yeah, it is endearing. Gareth's taken a little heat for wearing his brony shirt to school, but he's kind of proud of it. ;)
