Caffeinated.....

John had to call and tell me this while returning home. He had to run over to Manny's to help him solve a problem with his PO. While there, he complained of being tired, and his friend said "Let me make you some coffee." John replied that he was so tired, coffee really wasn't helping.

"Oh no, this is my special coffee."

Knowing the problems he has been helping Manny deal with, John greeted this with a raised eyebrow. Whereupon Manny put about six scoops of coffee in the maker with about three cups of water, put the coffee back in and ran it through the grounds again,, then poured out a cup and put in creamer, a couple of sweeteners and three more spoonfuls of instant coffee. He then handed it to John and said "Drink it really fast."

John had two cups. When he called he was just about vibrating. o___0 I like strong coffee, but sheesh.....

I think I'm buzzing from simply reading the description.

Bwahahaha! Since I'm allergic to coffee, I can't have the stuff that I make, but I've got a concentrate which beats people upside the head so severely that a sip or two usually has them vibrating. Essentially it follows the same approach, make coffee concentrate (through brewing a good coffee a number of times, then adding dehydrated coffee, then adding a bit of sugar to keep it from growing anything funky), then feed to friends the coffee concentrate STRAIGHT. But then, at the parties I throw, alcohol isn't allowed (wine is, but rarely people bring it), and I have bowls filled with chocolate covered espresso beans, and a small pitcher with baby doll teacups for the concentrate. Usually people are wandering around gaming with movements not unlike a chihuahua on speed. Glad to hear that John has found GOOD coffee. :)
