Certain people like to give me a hard time for not turning on the lights in the restroom. There is one default light that's always on, and I figure, how much light do you need to pee? I mean, I know where everything is; I think I can find it in the dark. A. explained that since the major lights were out, she wasn't expecting anyone to be in there, and it scared the (insert appropriate restroom expletive here) out of her, when I happened to cough (hey, just part of the service ma'am; helping the process along). Now she's used to it, but she still has to chide me about "you people who come in here and hide in the dark!"

People rely on sight to too great of a degree, I think. Of course, I've been almost completely blind without glasses for such a large part of my life that I might be a little biased.
