Apr. 3rd, 2003 10:31 amTried to post this morning before I left, but the client couldn't get through, so I'll try through the web page. I'm in a PhotoShop class yesterday and today, which is a lot of fun (Onna, now I can understand what you're talking about! Well, at least part of it). The only problem is it's in San Diego, and John had an emergency root canal yesterday afternoon, so I had to go home instead of spending the night down here like I usually would. It's a two-hour drive each way. Becasue of extra driving that I wasn't counting on, I'm going to have to take off some time tomorrow so I don't go into overtime.
I like the teacher - she's one of the most bubbly people I've ever seen. She told us how she learned it herself was to put on her favorite music, light some candles, get some really good beer, and then just play around with it for eight hours or so. Sounds good to me - if anyone would let me do it! :)

Date: 2003-04-03 02:14 pm (UTC)Yes, I spent one Xmas holiday between semesters just playing in Photoshop all day. I had gotten CATZ 4 for Xmas and I was wanting to make my own environments for the little buggers. Had a blast making a throne room, perfect for any cat with a superiority complex, like ALL of them!
Hope you can dabble for at least an hour a day so you don't forget what you have learned! I have forgotten many a software because I just stopped using it!
