Hey, [livejournal.com profile] angelsmum, could you please come pick up your mud snails?

They've been partying too hard and are beginning to get out of hand.

(I'm joshing you, just so you know. I should have taken all that prickly pear home with me from Australia when I left, too.)

On a more serious note, though, if these things populations are that dense - up to a million/square meter - I'm not sure how they're planning to get rid of them, short of sterilizing the streambed and then reintroducing native populations. Unless they could introduce their natural predators, but that can wind up causing other problems - several problematic introduced species instead of just one.
