John called me twice in the wetlab demanding that I must know where the can of Campbell's Chunky Potato Soup that was on the counter last night is, because I made dinner, and therefore must have at least tripped over it. I did not see it, last night or this morning, and when I'm called in the wetlab while I'm cutting up sardines, so I have to answer the phone by picking it up with a paper towel, yes, it's going to make me irritated.

Your asking me again five minutes later is not going to make me suddenly remember.
