Avalon had her final shot for the study yesterday, and some blood drawn. No more until she's five - whew! When the doctor checked her out, everything was fine, although since she's not reallly talking yet, she is officially "speech-delayed." She does say "This?" (sort of) when pointing to things, and "MAMA!" - especially when she wants out of her crib, so she definitely has no problem communicating what she wants to us. She likes to carry around the phone and pretend to talk on it as well. I don't think Angus or Gareth were talking all that much at the same age, so I'm not too worried. They don't have any problem now, although Angus does not like to say his "S"s. He can, I've heard him - he just doesn't like to.

In any case, I think the shot has made her feel a little off - she has been very clingy and constantly wanting "up" ever since. In the doctor's office, she would not let me put her down. I have to remember to measure her arm and take her temperature again tonight.
