Do they make keyskins for laptops?
Jan. 25th, 2003 06:34 pmAngus managed to knock over my coffee cup right onto keyboard this morning; I almost think he did it on purpose. It was tall paper cup from Starbucks with a lid on it, so it could have been a lot worse. Most of the spillage seemed to be on the top of the keys and I managed to clean it all up, but some must have gotten under. I left it to dry for awhile, and a few times it didn't want to reboot - getting stuck, and continuously beeping. I left it off the rest of the afternoon. Now it starts, but I have no enter, right arrow, or end key. Please forgive me if I don't write in paragraphs for awhile. I'm thinking if I pry off the keys, and wipe underneath them with a damp alcohol swab, it might take care of the problem. But maybe I'd better leave it for professionals...(ecch, that means money).
