senoritafish | Earthquake! (a small one)

Wow. We just had an earthquake! I didn't realize it was an earthquake until I saw that entry on my friends page! I'm sitting here screwing around on the computer, John is out in the street flying toy gliders, and then I hear a noise from the back of the house that I think is Angus. But I go to check on him and he's still asleep. I realize it was my dad's bathroom door, which has a chain on it to keep the kids from getting in, but the cats can still go in and out. It had opened and shut several times in rapid succession. I can't say I really felt anything; maybe a thump which I thought was John coming in the door.

A tiny baby one, nothing like the Northridge quake that woke us both up out of a sound sleep. but we were in an RV for that one.
