Angus lost another tooth - again, not on purpose. He was sitting on my lap and I was trying to convince him that the monsters Uncle Doug gave them were good presents, and they were lonely because they weren't being played with. Doubtful, he turned to get down. As he slid down, he lost his balance, twisted, and banged his face on the chair next to me. It was so quick I couldn't catch him. There was a lot of blood, and screaming, while I got him some ice wrapped in a wet paper towel, and we looked for the tooth. We couldn't find it.

John got hold of the emergency dentist, who said he had to come for an x-ray, in case the tooth had gotten shoved up into the gum. It wasn't, but for some reason the guy said to check his stools for it. Yech! He has to go to his regular dentist tomorrow. He has two fat lips as well as the additional gap in his smile. He was a little slowed down yesterday, but today, he's almost back to normal. I hope this isn't how he plans to lose all his baby teeth!

I feel really guilty - did I shift and make him lose his balance, I should have been faster trying to catch him. I know accidents happen, but I still feel bad.

In addtion this weekend, just so you hear from everyone, Gareth's pizza didn't agree with him, and I had to clean off my shoes, and Avalon took advantage of fact that she was diaperless to clear up a rash, did her business on the kitchen floor and them came and crawled in my lap. I'm glad the weekend is over.

Actually he's almost back to normal now. Just a little more of a speech impediment than he had already. We just weren't prepared for the Tooth Fairy coming so early.

Sounds like you had a typical kid filled weekend :) Poor babies. I hope you find the tooth, only have agreeable pizza and got that rash cleared right up.

You would not believe what I had to do earlier this evening, looking for the damn thing. My God, has John letting that boy eat Play Dough?!

*Pukes*

I am never doing that again!

I did that once with my dog because she ate one of my grandma's earrings. Never again. I won't be doing it with a kid either. They can just keep whatever they ate

Oh MY! Looks like you were attacked by The Terrible Trio this past weekend! Of course, the poor dears were innocent of any 'crimes', they were just being kids.

Why does this sound like something out of an Erma Bombeck book?

Dear Erma, I'm afraid, was not making anything up.

Hee, I have a new call name for them!(Terrible Trio, snicker, snicker)

It's better than what my dad and uncle called us - "monkeys" and "troops" respectively. Although, maybe on second thought, "monkeys" wasn't so bad...
