It was so clear yesterday morning, and the mountains were so pretty, I couldn't resist borrowing the project camera (since the boys broke mine). I thought I'd show you we actually do have snow in southern California. Unfortunately, the camera doesn't see quite like our eyes do, and squishes the distance down so it's barely visible.

These are the San Gabriel Mountains.

Mt. Baldy - looks like the wind is howling up there.

To post an inline picture you'd want to use this code:

<img src="http://ourworld.cs.com/Oxyjulis/View1a.JPG" >

To contrast, what you are using to make these links is probably:

<a href="http://ourworld.cs.com/Oxyjulis/View1a.JPG" >here...</a>
here...

Am I answering the question you were asking?

Actually I was using the Image tag you showed there, but they were not showing up. For some reason after fiddling with it yet again, it seems to want " /" right after the file name.

I think I've got it now. I just could not figure out why the one I posted the week before was showing up, and these weren't. I used the little menu in the client at first for both of them.

Anyhow, a bunch of boring pictures. Thank you. This has been giving me a headache for a week.

And a very Happy New Year to you!

Nice bit of showing far to close!

No mountains around here, just little bumps that are sometimes called hills. And forget snow! When the weather hits hard we get ice, baby, and lots of it!

Ah, Sony Mavicas are wonderful things - I dream of getting my own someday.
