I inadvertantly restarted my computer and now it's been saying "Updates are being installed (10 of 18)" for the last 20 minutes. Hell with it, stuff to do and all that - I'm turning it completely off.

Windows pissed me off today. I have to leave at o-god-thirty tomorrow morning for a staff retreat so I wanted to bring my computer home and save the trip up the office but when I went to shut it down, it had to do a bunch of updates first and wasn't done by they time I had to leave for the bus. GRRR

My work laptop is driving me nuts; it freezes at random moments and I have to restart everything. First IT thought was overheating then a virus. Now it's been reimaged and it's still doing it. Goddamned state lowest bidder bottom of the barrel and stupid *"&d$*!?!!! Gateway...
