On the way home from my book group at Barnes & Marmoset, Avalon announced:

"Mom, when I get big, I'm gonna make a book. And it's going to be called:

Get Out of the Tub! You're Pruning!

...and it's going to have chapters."

I thought I had a post about that, but I can't find it (probably one I haven't gotten around to putting tags on), so I'll just repeat the story.

Long, long ago, and probably after a book group meeting, John and I were buying some books at B&N and the employee helping us was a long haired chatty guy who was wearing a tie with a pattern of tiny monkeys all over it. We were discussing something nerdy as he rang us up, and I filled out my check on autopilot. When I looked down to put in the amount, I found I had written it to "Barnes and Marmoset" - instead of Barnes & Noble. His tie entered my eyeball and came right out my pen.

So we've called it that ever since. Silly inside joke.
