I had been going to post to

ipod about how iTunes was soooo slooooow and what could I do about it. My god, sometimes I had to wait 5 minutes for a click to scroll down the page and maybe 10 for a click through to another page. I don't buy a lot there, but I do like to check out the free songs every week and it was getting incredibly frustrating. I could not for the life of me figure out what was wrong; I know my computer is old and sluggish, but my browsers weren't that bad.

I was a bit skeptical that a couple of checkboxes would slow things down that much, but I checked out my free tunes yesterday and it was SO MUCH FASTER. You might want to try out their suggestions.

(Btw, for more free music, the Amazon mp3 newsletter has at least 10 free songs every week, sometimes up to 20, all genres)
