Interesting, I 've noticed that Stan Ridgeway (formerly of Wall of Voodoo) and Fred Schneider (the B-52s) are singing jingles for Nickelodeon-based video games. Stan Ridgeway does them for Rocket Power and Spongebob, and Fred does the one for Rugrats. So why don't they have one for "Invader Zim"? (Other than it's being cancelled).

I went to see Stan Ridgeway once at the Strand in Redondo Beach. I like singers who are also storytellers. He's also very quirky in a similar fashion to Lyle Lovett. The stranger the better.

I always like to play "guess the voice." It's interesting to see who does voices in cartoons, as well; some very well-known people ofen show up in the credits.

Sorry, I've tried for the last 2 days to respond to you, and LJ would not let me.

I bug [livejournal.com profile] runsamuck regularly, but he kind of got hurt feelings when [livejournal.com profile] cixel dropped him off his friends list. He's been pretty busy with the kids lately too. I'm thinking I should just start ghost writing for him (he usually dictates his entries to me anyway, because he's a horrible typist).
