Tate's Advent Calendar has started again....

She's been featured in an annual animated Advent calendar since 1995, and we've looked forward to them for the last three. (

dipster, you can pretend it's Shiitake :D ) This one is a little different from the last few years where there was one page posted every day.

Greetings - it's December 1 and Tate's online advent calendar is live once again at www.advent-calendars.com. This year the format is a little different, more like the traditional advent calendars that were the original inspiration. However, there are still plenty of Tate antics, and a daily animation of course. Let me know what you think in the online guestbook, I'm always glad for feedback. For 2004 we have five languages in addition to English - Dutch, French, German, Italian and Swedish - and a new feature that lets you switch languages "on the fly" throughout the calendar. Sadly, we do not have a Spanish version, so if you know any fluent Spanish speakers with some free time, please have them get in touch! Other languages are also welcome.

This is my 10th annual online calendar, and time permitting, I'll make the 1995 and 1996 calendars available on the "previous" page so you can see the whole lot. A little known piece of Tate trivia is that she appeared in the very first calendar in 1995, although she wasn't properly introduced until 1998, when she stole the show and never looked back.
