When we went out for lunch today, the sky was a combination of the most amazing shades of gray. I've decided that dark shade of purple-gray on the bottom of thick rain-filled clouds (not the ones above you, but the ones approaching you) is becoming one of my favorite colors.

The promised rain has finally arrived. I just saw a flash of lightning out the window (but no thunder). I think I'll dredge up some boots and go walk in it. Makes me think of Arcata.
