Buds about to open on a flowering pear on my way to the bus stop across from my work.

I saw buds on some pear trees just a few hours ago! But I do not think they were very far along. Another couple of weeks, perhaps, maybe longer?

I just walked under this same tree yesterday; it's done blooming and all leafed out.

When I was in Sacramento the weekend before last, there were tons of huge trees covered with flowers. Beautiful. Unfortunately, I didn't get outside much during the day, so I couldn't take pics of them.
