Date: 2008-02-14 06:38 pm (UTC)Ripley was visiting my parents recently, and asked Grandma if she had a "true video" that she could watch.
My parents watch vids to escape from reality, so they didn't have much. What she did have was the first episode of Cosmos apparently. She warned Ripley that she wasn't sure she'd like it, but it WAS a true video...
Apparently Ripley was mesmerized and totally absorbed by it.
Thanks for reminding me!! *makes a mental note to look for DVD's of Cosmos for Rip's upcoming birthday*
