Jan. 25th, 2008 09:22 pmAngus just asked me how to spell abomination. What the hell is he writing now?

I believe he may have an early start on fanfiction writing. Or comic book art, maybe. Over the MLK weekend he wrote and drew a 60-page Bionicle/Codename: Kids Next Door crossover. I didn't quite get the story, but he was occupied, doing something creative, and he wasn't watching televsion. His art style really hasn't progressed a lot since he was five; bodies and heads are ovals, arm and legs are rectangles, girls all have an arc sprouting from each side of their heads as hair. It's very stylized - and now that I think of it, maybe slightly ancient egyptian-looking. Maybe not surprising since he was obsessed with Egypt for a good while - he still is interested but not so one track mind anymore. I don't know whether this is something to be concerned about, since most of the adults I know can only draw stick figures. I just need to figure out how to teach him how to draw in frames so he's not using up so much paper!
