senoritafish | Birthday cards past.....

So, is it totally weird to be a fan of someone who wrote greeting cards? I just read a very short board book by Sandra Boynton to the boys before bed called, But Not the Hippopotamus. At one time,probably when I was in college, every time I someone a birthday or holiday card, it was one of hers (hearing "hippo birdie two ewes"in my mind - oh, by the way it was

runsamuck's birthday today). I loved her simple cartoons of animals and her sense of humor.

So I just looked her up. Now she is doing music! Collaborating with Michael Ford, she does children's music and her newest (imaginary) musical is - you may or may not like this, Emma, Philadelphia Chickens.

I shall have to explore this further.
