Well, I did hear Punxatawny Phil didn't see his shadow last week. These were in my front planter this weekend - it was surprisingly warm too - the kids wanted me to get the wading pool out.

It's definitely not surprisingly warm here this week. ;) Hopefully your milder weather is a good sign for those of us in the frozen middle of the country. In the meantime, I'll enjoy your picture as a reminder that spring really is on its way... eventually!

Agreed! There was a windchill of -25 this morning when I left for work. We had a windchill advisory all day yesterday and until noon today and then we have a snow advisory for tonight and tomorrow. They were saying that it was supposed to be 2-4 inches but they have bumped that up to 3-5 inches with blowing and drifting after the fact.

This is once in my life that I'm glad my kids are sick so I have an excuse not to leave the house for a couple of days.

Enjoy! It's warm and nearly springlike up here too...no bulbs blooming yet, but we have cut tulips in a vase on the dining room table.

Soon we'll have baby horses and goats to REALLY usher in the season...

Not quite yet....

Leeanne,
It's not quite spring yet... We just got 3 inches of snow today here in Columbus. Took 2 hours to get to work.
