Weirdness in the Quest family

senoritafishJonny Quest is on. I can never look at this with the same eye since Harvey Birdman, Attorney at Law. Where Race is suing Dr. Quest for custody of Jonny and Hadji, and they've been longtime companions for years. It's a scream.
As far as that "new" one they used to show, where the kids are teenagers, the sudden appearance of Race's daughter always made me wonder why she had red hair (just like Jonny's dad) and Jonny was blond (like Race).
