It's the weirdest thing - my kids left the beginning of this game on in one window while they did something else and I checked a few things. It's got kind of a Hawaiian music background, although not really a melody, and after having it on for 20 minutes or so, I realized I was humming and unconsciously making one up to harmonize. I guess in about 15 years of playing second saxophone, something musical actually rubbed off on me. Funny, I never went for jazz band because I was so terrible at improvising.

Other musical stuff. I checked out www.Pandora.com (becuase Neil Gaiman mentioned it of course), and he's quite right - it's addictive. Enter an artist or song you like, and it will play something similar based on those characteristics that you might like. You can refine it by clicking on the box for the song playing and picking I like or I don't like. They don't seem to have a lot of folk music though, and readily admit classical is not included because they're not sure how to break it down. If you register, you can create 100 different stations. I made a general one for myself, a holiday one, and a swing/big band one for my father. I seem to remember another one or two sites doing this, but I either lost touch with them or they disappeared, and you could only have one station anyhow.

I keep wondering how long Pandora is going to stay a free ride. I tried a bunch of different stations, but finally settled on the Bob Dylan station to keep me entertained at work.

You can add more artists you like by clicking on Guide Me, too. My station may say Neil Finn, but it's also Mark Knopfler, Bic Runga, John Mayer, and quite a few others I've added.

Their FAQ says the free accounts will have more advertising in the future, but there will be paid accounts without it; prices seem a litte steep though.

Wish I could listen at work. Unfortunately, too many people listening to streaming content in the past tied up the network, so I still pack CDs & and my trusty flash drive full of mp3s back & forth.
