I thought this costume was a squid, but since she has eight appendages, I guess she's really an octopus.

And just in case you wanted to see what this thing looked like without a kid in it.
It was a originally a bunting for infants, but I saw it at Target & my first thought was "OMG! It's a SQUID! I have to get it for her!" Then I thought "It's huge!" So I bought it anyway and cut the bottom seam out for her feet.

Thanks! The costume is entirely due to my friend Traci at work, who wanted to get it for her niece. Of course a bunch of marine biologists would have to go check it out.
