Aug. 6th, 2005 02:58 pmSometimes we'll drive up to Point Fermin; there's a parking lot there where we can overlook the ocean and look for boats coming in. Sometimes the light is really awesome.
The curved line is the jetty that forms the entrance to Los Angeles Harbor. There's a lighthouse at the very end of it that flashes a green light. Closer to shore, there is a fishing pier on the inside of the harbor. Occasionally, people will walk out to the very end of the jetty to fish -- and forget to check the weather report. In rough weather, waves start breaking over the jetty. Then you get to see a story about them having to be rescued on the new.
The kids want me to make them spaghetti for lunch. I think they'll have to make to with peanut butter sandwiches.
