Similarities - They look a little alike, Jet owns a former fishing vessel and has trouble making a living trawling in bounties, while Stan Rogers wrote songs about out-of-work fishermen, both very big men, both rather passionate about things they believe in, similar age (Stan died in a plane crash at 34).
