I'm starting to think it's a curse if Neil Gaiman mentions your site. I've been trying to check out the teapot site he linked a couple of days ago and it's still crashed for exceeding bandwidth. Poor guy.

Neil Gaiman (http://www.neilgaiman.com/index.asp) is probably best known as the author of The Sandman series of graphic novels. Tori Amos is a big fan of his and, I think, has based a few of her songs on his characters, although not being a huge Tori Amos fan I couldn't tell you which ones. I haven't read Sandman but I have read a couple of his fantasy novels; Neverwhere and Stardust - if you like The Princess Bride you'd probably like the latter. His children's books, The Wolves in the Walls, and The Day I Swapped My Dad for Two Goldfish are among my kids favorites. I've probably read more of his journal than his actual works, as it reads like letters from an old friend; a humorous, incredibly creative friend with an English accent. It's just kind of cool that aside from being involved in so much stuff, books and screenplays and musicals and whatever, he's got the time to let us get a peek inside his mind as well.

Occasionally, his 10-year-old daughter Maddy hijacks his journal, which is also fun.

(Oh, and he has a movie coming out sometime this fall called Mirror Mask.)
