Our union tapped VT and I to be judges at a science fair for kids from 7th to 11th grade at the OC Fairgrounds today. I have a sneaking suspicion that a lot of these kids are way smarter than I am. TN, who's done it before, told us that a few have mom or dad's help, who just happens to be a physics professor at UCI. He said you can usually tell though, by asking them questions about their work. What questions to ask though?
