Proof positive...

I am easily entertained. I find great enjoyment in simple things, like poking holes in that tightly stretched paper or foil seal over the top of a new jar of instant coffee or creamer. Dad brought home his new jar of Taster's Choice from the store, and I was unable to stop myself from removing the lid and tapping my fingernail through the foil. This greatly distressed him as he was planning to cut a surgically precise hole through which to pour his instant into another smaller jar (he has an obsession with repackaging things). Part of it is I like the popping sound. Or maybe I am just a nut.

But you knew that, didn't you.

i like poking with my finger and seeing how far a plastic seal will stretch before it finally breaks under the pressure. i guess that doesn't work too well for foil, seeing as it doesn't really stretch, does it?

Well, it's sort of a plasticized foil, so I suppose it does stretch a bit. But the point for me is to do it as fast as possible. Usually I use a spoon, especially if it's paper. I really have no idea why I get such satisfaction out of it - I truly need help.

Hmmm, I guess I am obsessive-compulsive about something.
