I have been so busy the last few weeks the surface of my desk could not be seen - not an uncommon state for my desk. When I finished one project, I just began piling the crap from the next project on top of it. I made a halfhearted try to clear it away before I left today. At least now it's all in one big pile. Now if I could just get the same the done in my house!

We enjoyed visiting La Jolla when we were based out of San Diego for a conference two summers ago. We LOVED San Diego! Balboa Park was wonderful!

Yes, I really enjoy San Diego too. It's about a two-hour drive south of me. The zoo and Sea World there are my favorites. La Jolla is very pretty too. My colleague's offices look right over the bluff to the water, and some of them often go boogie-boarding or surfing during lunch. I'm so jealous.
