Nov. 9th, 2004 03:39 pmMy, it's dark to the north, from what I can see from peeping over my cubicle wall out the window. Rain before too long, I expect. This is really more like January weather lately. I pointed out to Angus that jacket was in his backpack when I dropped him off at school this morning, but whether he'll remember is another story. He's home by now, in any case.
Since the time change, I've been driving home in the dark. I love my cool weather in the fall, but darn I like my long days, too. Oh the advantages and disadvantages of living on a tilted planet...
If I start taking the bus, as I think I should just from the price of gas lately (I can get a pass for an entire month for less than it costs to fill up my tank once), I'll be even longer getting home, and I won't be able to take Angus to school, which I've enjoyed; both dropping him off and getting speak with his teacher now and again. I would probably start coming in earlier too, but still...
