So, anyone watching the lunar eclipse? We noticed it when the moon was coming up over the rainclouds when we were going for a walk. The bite kept getting bigger and bigger. I tried to take some pictures, but darn my stupid camera's autofocus....

Go outside and look east, right now!

(Pardon if everyone is mentioning the same thing...)

Hello, my name is James and I found your LJ through common interest Marine Biology. I did see the lunar eclipse, though I'm red-green color blind, I could faintly see a color different than a normal colored moon. :)

it was orange... it was pretty in the beginning. then it just became a white moon with a chunk out of it. my ex has issues with color blindness. i don't think we would have even noticed it.

Hi, James. Well, we both like fish, it seems. ;)

When it was completely eclipsed, it actually looked dark brown. You wouldn't have even thought it was up, unless you knew where to look.

We caught it between rainstorms, I think. As it ended, more clouds blew in, and I woke up this morning to a thunderstorm.
