Two of the fry had coupons for a free meal at Ruby's that they got as a reward from school, so we walked out to the one on the end of the pier for lunch. Had to wait for 45 minutes and runsamuck was about to lose patience and leave.

Avalon: So Dad, what do you call the microwave where the door opens down and it gets really hot?

runsamuck: Do you mean the oven?

Hoo boy, the generational difference is showing....

And I'm suddenly realizing Avalon is seven years old, and for some reason I have recorded Angusisms and Garethisms, but absolutley no Avalonisms. This is the first. I am a neglectful parent. :(
