senoritafish: (Not Again...)
A holiday in the middle of the week is nice. However having to come back to work again the next day makes it feel like a week with two Mondays.

Angus was particularly dragging his feet this morning, and complaining about why did he have to go to summer school, partly, I'm sure, because the daily routine got interrupted. However, I reminded him that once this week is over, he's just about halfway done with it. Meanwhile, I'm trying to figure out what I absolutely need to have finished (or a good start on) before I'm gone on a boat for two weeks.

Ah well, at least tomorrow is Friday.

...and we recently bought an Epson printer/scanner.

Epson's claims of cheaper ink are empty

It would be ok if one color ran out sooner than the others, which is kind of what we figured on when we bought the thing. However, I noticed when I had to print out 25-30 copies of my garden club's flower show schedule (approx. 12 pages with color pictures), all the color cartridges emptied at almost the same rate, except for two (light magenta and light cyan, I think), which still haven't run out. However, I figured I'd replace all of them at the same time - quite the shock when I went to Staples. It was more than $60 for all six cartridges!!

For both studies mentioned in the article, however, I am dubious when the study was commissioned by a company that wants to hear a certain result.
