senoritafish: (easily distracted silliness)
Being sucked dry by leeches isn't so bad.
You will be sucked dry by a leech. I'd stay away
from swimming holes, and stick to good old
cement. Even if it does hurt like hell when
your toe scrapes the bottom.

What horrible Edward Gorey Death will you die?
brought to you by Quizilla

Well, at least that's relatively painless. I did have a leech in my sock once. Hmmm, on the kid's birthdays we're supposed to donate a book to their classroom, instead of bringing treats. Do you think Mrs. Kettler would like The Ghastlycrumb Tinies? It is an alphabet book...

Home again today. John never quite recuperated from last week and spent Saturday throwing up, and today with stomach cramps. Yesterday, Angus got a runny nose, and today definitely has a cold. So much for the Perfect Attendance Award. I called in this morning, but I keep worrying that someone is going to say something about only so much family sick leave can be taken. DP has never said anything to me about it, though, and was nice enough to let me take off his first day of school last week. I hope it would be a little longer before anyone got sick, but I suppose it was to be expected. Anytime you get a large group of kids together, someone is going to be sick, or pass it along.
