Boy, the weather is being strange. We are still getting Santa Anas, and the air is very dry and static-laden. However, now it's overcast and I was showered on my way to work. Rain from the east seems unusual. We usually get storms from west or northwest. The light was great though; dark in east and south, but bright at the edges of the clouds in the north and west.

Got to work and found that the formatting in the Excel files I was working on yesterday was completely gone! I know I saved them because the text I entered at the very last was there. I was thinking maybe there is some setting checked like "save without formatting" but I couldn't find it, and when I experimentally tried saving something today with the same formatting, it worked fine! Very strange and extremely frustrating. Grrr, I hate Microsoft!
