John told me that yesterday, Angus and Gareth picked up their toy robot dog and cat (those little Robo-chi things they gave away at Burger King), rather haphazardly wrapped them up in paper towels (ears and tails sometimes sticking out), and insisted John put tape on the packages. Then they gave them to Avalon and told her “Happy Birthday!” (or “happy birfday” as the case may be). It’s a month early, but it was very sweet nevertheless. And I missed it because I was at work! (Sniff!)
