Last night Avalon was playing with Vejita and Goku action figures I got at Burger King a year or two ago. After making them pretend to fly around for awhile, she tossed Vejita up in the air - he came straight down and bopped her on the nose. She looked surprised for a moment, and I told her, "Vejita got you on the nose huh? He's good at that."

Whereupon she pointed at him lying on the floor and shouted, "I 'ate 'oo!" several times (she's not quite three, she doesn't speak quite clearly yet).

Then she picked him back up and was making him hug Goku.

Hee-hee.

Considering we're pretty much restricted to what's on TV, and I think CN stopped showing Sailor Moon before she was born, I think we're safe there. I'm a big ol' tomboy, so I'm not a big shojo fan myself (Then again, what category does Tenchi Muyo fall into?)

She's already quite a big fan of Cowboy Bebop, most of which is completely over her head. I think it's more of an excuse to stay up late with Mom, but she really likes Ed and Ein.

Yes, it was very cute. I just about picked her up and squished her.

And I'm glad she hasn't gotten the idea yet that it's wrong for two guys to hug each other. I'd like to keep it that way.
