Lovely rain last night, but I wish we could get a few days of it in a row. It's nice hearing rain on the roof. John had the Trooper yesterday to do the banking; after he picked me up from work, he stopped at Starbucks on the way home. We sat in the car and watched the rain blow around the parking lot lights. He got me a coffee and everyone else cookies - rather expensive cookies, too. I would have personally bought two and split them between all of the kids, but as it turned out, only Angus ate all of his. Then requested grilled cheese sandwiches, which he actually ate, too. I was suprised, but I suppose I shouldn't have been - he's been sick the last two days and has hardly eaten anything.
