Probably because it's just before lunch and I'm hungry, but this sounds really good. And someone mentioned having leeks recently? Or maybe not that recently, I haven't been able to get on here a lot lately. And I have an acorn squash and and turban squash I need to use...

That may have been me; I had leeks in the vegetable delivery. I wound up making something with barley, mushrooms, leeks, and kale (since I also had a bunch of kale.) It was pretty good, though I still have a ton of it left. I'd mke this if I were you.

Well, now that I think of it I guess I did f-lock the entry, but it wasn't because I didn't want anyone to know I'm a *whisper* leek-eater.

By the way your little commentary on that video I put on Tumblr cracked me up. I didn't have a good way to reply because of Tumblr but yes to all of that. XD

That sounds like something I would do - websites like that are helpful but probably hard to keep up with.

Hee! Glad you saw that. I made John watch it - he thought it was pretty funny as well.

Heck, with you posting songs in German and tikistitch with all the Bollywood in Hindi, I feel like I'm getting some cross-cultural music education. I've always liked music from all over the world, anyway. :D

My ex had a beard and even though I don't have a big hate-on for my ex it kind of made me unimpressed with beards for a while after that. But Adam Grahn from Royal Republic (in icon) has one and he is one darned attractive guy, so they're starting to appeal to me again.

But I have a little ladybeard action going too that I could live without. :/

If he had waistlength hair, he could be Toki Wartooth(also in icon), who's also Scandinavian. Toki even dresses kind of like that in a couple of episodes...

The video your icon came from reminded me of one from U2, where people were doing the same kind of stuff to The Edge...who also has a beard, so have we come full circle yet? ;p

Actually Adam said in an interview that the whoever had the idea for the video (a manager? Not sure.) got it from a U2 video, so I guess the circle is deliberate. Which one is that? I know many of their songs but not many of their videos.

Ah, it's this one. Numb - 1993. I thought I remember it being in black & white, but I remember wrong. Cracked me up when I first saw it. He looks really uncomfortable with the feet.

Oh thanks! I like that song but I'd never seen the video before. Yeah, they definitely took a lot from that for Tommy-Gun. Except he got it way worse than Adam, it seems. XD Poor guy.
