Gimme a smooch!

A sea cucumber puckers up. Well, I did it again. It was a special kid's morning in early February at the AOP, and as per usual I took 119 photos that I have trouble deciding on. Ooh, 7 am is way too early to be at the Aquarium!

The kids got their faces painted, well, two of them did - Gareth didn't want paint on his face.

Swell shark face...

I love spot pattern on this ray - this gal is huge, she must be six ft. across the wings...

Under side of a clingfish...

Divers in the outdoor shark tank; the one on the left is using a compressed air-driven scrubber to clean the tank walls, while his counterpart is using some poles with plexiglass pads on the ends to gently shove away any sharks that get too close. Although if you look close between the two of them there's a nurse shark sneaking in between them who snuck in from behind. I think it startled the guy with the poles. I don't the sharks wanted to be particularly close to the noisy scrubber anyhow.
