Testing...testing...

This is the first time I'm trying this posting-by-email thing - I've been on the Jordan for almost a week, and this is my only connection to the outside world, except when we're close enough to the coast or Catalina Island to get cell phone service. I've got some posts ready to put up, once I get the ok to hook up my jump drive to the ship's computer, so if you get bored with a daily report, you can just skip them.



By the way, if anyone feels like dropping me a line (it'd be nice to know this actually works and this email isn't just going off into the ether), you can email me at the ship, at leanne.laughlin.atsea@jonems.jordan.omao.noaa.gov (no longer valid) (note - they mispelled my first name, but I wasn't going to argue about it). I'm not going to be anywhere else until next Friday. Hey, email me a question and I'll answer it in a post! Sound like fun?

Miss reading everyone's news - I'll have a lot to catch up on when I get back...
