Wish me luck. I'm driving up to Monterey for a promotional interview for Associate Marine Biologist in an hour or two. I'll spend the night at Motel 6, study, maybe go to the aquarium in the morning and interview tomorrow afternoon. Then load up a bunch of boxes of squid gonads (their eventual destination is La Jolla, but I'll take them at least part of the way), and head home tomorrow evening. I'm kind of ambivalent about this thing, but I'll save it for later.

Sigh. Wish I could spend more time all these places I have to go. I was tempted to take John with me, but don't think I can since I'm driving a state vehicle.
